A Sense Of Land

2019

In Leslie’s first solo exhibition, A Sense of Land, her play and response to nature is revealed through watercolour. Colours are amplified from the visual experience she has when immersed in the landscape. The compositions are impulsive - combining intuition and sensitivity, while being lively and responsive.

The paintings in this body of work are inspired by travels to New Zealand, America’s Southwest, and Belize.
