Place is a body of work that merges the landscapes of which Leslie is from. The Mountains - her roots and continuous yearning, with the Coastline - her embraced and chosen home.
An abstract exploration of comparison and contrast, she paints the colours of places that hold her soul and imagination captive. Dense forest of the subalpine with gumtree covered hills and valleys. The Rocky Mountains of Colorado with the Coastline of the Tasman Sea.
